Received my first Microsoft Prestigious MVP Award 2017
.....................................................................................................................................................
This year I received 2 most precious emails. One from Microsoft that I have been awarded the prestigious Microsoft MVP for Visual Studio and Development Technologies for the 2nd time, and another email from C# Corner as I have awarded 3rd time MVP .
My two little kids (Afraz and Afreen) holding Microsoft MVP award and the Ring.
I need to tell this to you all. This year Microsoft MVP award is more special.yes this time Microsoft CEO “Sathya Nadella” signed in the MVP award.
Thank You Microsoft, India MVP Lead Deepak Rajendran, Gandharv Rawat ,Biplab Paul and the entire Microsoft Team on considering me for Microsoft MVP award.
Thank You C# Corner, Mahesh Chand, Dinesh Beniwal, Praveen Kumar, Manish Tewatia, Atul Gupta and the C# Corner team on considering me for Microsoft MVP award.
My journey to become a MVP:
I started my contribution from mid of 2013.When I start contribution I was not aware about MVP and any other benefits or about awards. During 2013 I first published my article about a winform tool which will be used to generate a Barcode label design. I didn’t expect as that article was reached 1000’s of views and lot’s of downloads, lots of good feedbacks from the readers. I was so surprised to see this and started contributing my articles. I feel happier when my article was useful for someone and my article helps to someone for solving their problems. This gives me new energy inside me and I started feeling of how worth to spend our time in useful way to help others. There is a fact as if you feel something good by doing new things you cont stop it and you like to do that more and more to feel the same all time in your life. I had the same feeling and from mid of 2013 to till date I’m continuing my contributions.
Main Benefit I got from Contributions:
From my first contribution I got the main benefit as I started learning new things then doing usual things. means here usual things or our work where we do all our routine works and like working for projects and doing the same thing again and again for different projects, but when I start contribution ,I start searching for new innovative things and also started learning new technology which I’m not using in my regular work. In our work project mostly we won’t get the opportunity to work with new technology on our projects. But when we start contribution we can learn and teach the new technology, this gives me more confident on myself as I’m up-to-date with new technology.
I planned my contribution areas need to be different and unique from other regular contributions. I like to do new and different things and also love to work with challenges. If you ask me what makes your contributions unique ,then answer to this question is to see few of my articles which is more different and with innovative ideas.
Each time when I start working for my article, I think as this is my first article and need to be more different and useful for others. Which leads me as most of my articles won the medals and featured in community.
I started my contribution from mid of 2013 and received my first MVP award from Code Project during Dec 2014.I received my first C# Corner MVP award during July 2015.Since that time till today I have received 3 times MVP award from C# Corner and also from Code Project.
I received my first Microsoft MVP award during July 2016.After 3 years of contribution I received my first Microsoft MVP award and this year I received my 2nd Microsoft MVP award.
Totally I have received 3 time C# Corner and Code Project award and 2 time Microsoft MVP award. Why I’m telling this is when I start contribution, I’m not aware about what is MVP,I feel more happy when I contribute articles and feels proud as our small contributions help’s someone. I’m not contributing the articles for awards but for myself satisfaction. The community recognizes our work and honoring us with most prestigious MVP awards.
14th December 2015 is my one more important day as I was been interviewed in Microsoft TechNet Wiki Ninja by ED Price. Interview with a Wiki Ninja, Author, and .NET Expert: SYED SHANU
Nov 6th to Nov 10th 2016 is one more important and memorable time as I visited Microsoft office at Redmond, Seattle for Microsoft MVP summit. I got a chance to meet many C# Corner friends at Microsoft MVP Summit and we had such a great time with lots of fun and discussion.
Don’t stop till bored and retired:
The true contributor never runs behind awards and rewards. They will contribute for their self satisfaction and also love to help others with some useful manners. Help in sense of knowledge sharing. If someone ask me for money support or for job support ,I will run away from them (just kidding).Lot’s of legends here many of them are even 25 years,15 years,10 years, and etc MVP award winners ,if you ask them all .They will answer you the same as they are more happy to contribute for community in useful way and also love to teach their little know knowledge to others.
If you have money and other assets you can save for yourself and hide that from others. But when you have knowledge and experience don’t save for yourself and don’t hide that to others. Your knowledge is not for you, it’s for others, Lot’s of freshers and beginners here around the world looking for the correct path and looking for lots of solutions for their questions. Your small part of contribution can help and save lots of people’s life and time.
Since from mid of 2013 I was been contributing minimum 1 article per each month. If I didn’t contribute an article for a month, I feel as missing something in my life. Even if I didn’t get my continues MVP award, I will not stop contributing till I bored J.don’t ask me the question as when you will be bored J .Small request to other contributors as if you didn’t receive MVP awards or if your MVP award was not renewed from community then don’t stop contribution .Continue your service as lots of peoples need your valuable guides, articles, answers, solutions and lectures. Keep on doing your good works till your retired or bored.
One important thing I forgot to tell you as during our contributions sometimes we will be getting negative feedback and discourages. We need to take all this as positive and need to improve ourself to move forward with our goals.
I would like to thank my family and friends for their understanding, support and encouragement.
I would also like to thank all my articles readers; with all your support, positive and negative feedback, I learned a lot, improving myself and with all your support today, I have received this prestigious MVP awards.
I would also like to thank our company CEO and all our colleagues for supporting and encouraging me.
I would also like to thank Dinesh Beniwal, Praveen Moosad, Mahesh chand, Manish Tewatia, Atul Gupta and the entire C# Corner family for supporting and encouraging me.
I would also like to Thank Chris Maunder, Sean Ewington and entire Code project family for supporting and encouraging me.
I would also like to thank Ed Price and entire Microsoft TechNet Wiki family for supporting and encouraging me.
Hard Work, Hard work and Hard Work until you achieve. After achieve your goal, don’t stop your community activities. Continue, Continue and Continue till you bored and retired :)

I was happy in the way as my articles are useful for someone. I will be happy even if one person get benefit from our article. Getting MVP is not an easy job. I have contributed for 2 years and so far, I have written nearly 70 articles. Whenever I publish articles, I feel it’s my first and best than previous and I always like to write innovative articles that make me feel better and think to make something new.
- Most important is we need passion and we need to love what we are doing. If we like and love what we are doing then we can get all the success.
About me: A Short Story about me, Sorry if I’m boring you all J
I started learning computer from my high school and during my under graduate, I started loving programing and in Post Graduation, I started working and playing with computer. Yes during my Masters' degree, I created a Website for a historical place named Thirumnalai Nayak Palace (google it to know about the palace) in our home town Madurai Tamil Nadu, India. I individually created a web site for the historical palace using ASP during the year 2003. I was in my 1st year of MCA when I created and hosted this website. I went to the historical place and collected all information and with their permission, I was the first to create the website. I planned to make a website which will be useful for tourists of the city. I added all the information in that site and also few more important details and place to see in our city. I got very good response from family, friends, college and also from our city local newspaper. The published my work and website details in the newspaper. That was my my first job in computer field and from that time I love to work with computer and started my career.
After I completed my Masters' degree, I went to Chennai for a 6 month project work. My brother referred me to a company. I went there and the CEO gave me a project titled, “Ship Warehouse Management". He didn’t give much details but explained me the overall project details and ask me to get information myself. He said total project duration is for 15 days and I have to complete the warehouse management project within that time. I accepted the challenge. I visited a Ship Warehouse Company near Paris corner in Chennai. I didn't know anyone there but I went there and explained that I’m a student and I’m collecting information to complete my project. That company person helped me a lot and explained me in detail about warehouse management for ships. Then I started designing and building my project and created using JSP and SQL Server.
I completed my college project in 15 days which is actual duration is 6 month. I went to the company and demoed our CEO. He approved my work and pretty much offered me a job. I was so happy to hear that news and started my career from there. Today, I have 10+ years of experience in the field.
Why I’m telling this is if you love what you do then you will have more confidence in yourself and you can achieve all the success in your life.
- Be positive and teach what you know. Take criticism well and improve yourself.
- Community is like our family. Don’t be afraid to ask any doubt if you have. All of us are here to help and learn.
Hard Work, Hard work and Hard Work until you achieve. After achieve your goal, Don’t stop your community activities. Continue, Continue and Continue till you retired :)

I can say this is one of my best article here i have developed a program to design your own form at run time.
Windows Form Design at Run Time will allow users to Design Form at Run Time, Save the Form ,Open and reuse the existing Form. User can add controls at Runtime from the Toolbar, Design there Form, Write there code for controls to perform some Action. Now for Example user can add a DataGridView and a Button Control at Run time.
- ASP.NET Web Painting TOOL using HTML 5 (Selected in ASP.NET Article of the Day)
For a long time I have been planning to develop a web-based painting tool. I have developed a painting tool as a Windows application. But using ASP.NET I find it more difficult to develop a web-based painting tool. Finally using the HTML 5 CANVAS I have developed a simple web-based Painting tool. HTML 5 has made my work much easier. It's really fun to work with HTML 5.
Few days before one of codeproject member asked a question on how to create a Nested or Master Detail or Hierarchical DataGridView for winforms. I started searching in Google but badly I didn’t get any result for nested DataGridView .I started working on creating a Nested DataGridView sample program which should be useful to all. As a result I have created a Nested DataGridView and you can find the source code from this article. My aim is to create a simple and easy program for users. User can download the code and can customize depend on their requirement.
